I'm not dead, I've just been working 6 days a week for the last 3 months. So, I'm mostly dead, but that's still slightly alive.

Luckily, my work schedule returns to something approaching sanity this month, so hopefully I can return to normal now.

But first I need a long, extremely hot bubble bath. 

So, I turned 30 this month. Holy cats.

I’m sitting curled up in the armchair as a summer shower patters outside, having just finished Mouse Guard: Autumn 1152, which is an enjoyable, cozy read for a rainy afternoon. Life continues to be fucking frustrating. I didn't get the job, tea_drinker77 's grandmother is slowly dying, and our fridge is broke. Also, while her mother was out of town visiting said grandmother, the carbon monoxide detector in her house went off so the cats had to spend 2 and half days in the garage till it could get sorted out.

So I had my job interview on Wednesday. Sitting here listening to Spotify, with Jet (aka The Evil Cat) on my lap, waiting for The Phonecall. It's kinda hard to judge how I did; sometimes I blow it out of the park and I still don't get the job, other times I think I sucked and they hire me. I think I did pretty well.
